一、个人简介
秦庆华教授,欧洲科学院(Academia Europaea)院士。现任深圳北理莫斯科大学前沿交叉技术研究院院长。在华中科技大学任教十年后,他于1994年获得德国DAAD/K.C. Wong研究奖学金,前往德国斯图加特大学开展为期九个月的专项研究。1995年至1997年,秦教授在清华大学从事博士后研究工作。1997年,他作为Queen Elizabeth II fellowship在悉尼大学开展研究工作;此后任职于澳大利亚国立大学(ANU)工程学院,直至2021年3月。其间,于2001年至2005年,在天津大学任长江学者特聘教授。2009年至2021年,担任澳大利亚国立大学工程研究中心材料加工制造组组长及学科带头人;2011年至2013年,兼任澳大利亚国立大学工学院副院长。2021年至今在深圳北理莫斯科大学任教授和前沿交叉技术研究院院长。
他曾获中国教育部长江学者奖励计划特聘教授人才项目1项;获澳大利亚国家基金委人才项目2项(QE II fellow 和 Professorial Fellow),该类项目每年全澳仅15个名额,面向全球招聘;2022年入选深圳市孔雀人才计划A类人才;1998年获澳大利亚科学院J. G. Russell奖;2007年当选澳大利亚工程师学会高级会员;2020年以来,持续入选斯坦福大学发布的“世界800万学者中前2%顶尖科学家排行榜”;2016年以来,连续获评Elsevier中国高被引学者。2026年,秦教授当选为欧洲科学院院士。
科研成果方面,秦教授主持过8项澳大利亚国家面上基金和4项中国自然科学基金面上项目。作为会议主席,曾在多次组织举办了国际学术会议。此外,曾获澳大利亚授权发明专利5项(均涉及3D打印复合材料领域);累计发表SCI收录期刊论文470余篇(其中一区268篇;二区145篇),涵盖《Nano Letters》《ACS Nano》《Biomaterials》《Light-Science & Applications》等国际高水平期刊;发表Book Chapter文章19篇,出版英文专著9部。截至目前,其研究成果在Google Scholar上的总引用量达19379次,单篇最高引用783次,h指数为71。
学术兼职方面,秦教授目前担任两个国际杂志的主编,同时兼任四个SCI杂志的编委。
1.Biography-Short Description
Professor Qin Qinghua is a Member of Academia Europaea and currently serves as Professor and Dean of the Institute of Advanced Interdisciplinary Technology at Shenzhen MSU–BIT University.
After ten years of teaching at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Professor Qin received a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)/K. C. Wong Research Fellowship in 1994, which supported nine months of specialised research at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. From 1995 to 1997, he conducted postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University. In 1997, he joined the University of Sydney as a Queen Elizabeth II Fellow. He subsequently worked at the College of Engineering and Computer Science of the Australian National University (ANU) until March 2021.
During his tenure at ANU, Professor Qin also served as a Cheung Kong Distinguished Professor at Tianjin University from 2001 to 2005. Between 2009 and 2021, he was Group Leader and Academic Lead of the Materials Processing and Manufacturing Group within ANU’s Engineering Research Centre. From 2011 to 2013, he concurrently served as Associate Dean of the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science. In 2021, he joined Shenzhen MSU–BIT University as Professor and Dean of the Institute of Advanced Interdisciplinary Technology.
Professor Qin has received a talent grant under the Cheung Kong Scholars Programme of China’s Ministry of Education, as well as two prestigious fellowships from the Australian Research Council: a Queen Elizabeth II Fellowship and a Professorial Fellowship. Only approximately 15 fellowships of this type are awarded annually across Australia through an internationally competitive selection process. In 2022, he was selected as a Tier-A talent under the Shenzhen Peacock Talent Programme.
His honours also include the J. G. Russell Medal of the Australian Academy of Science in 1998 and election as a Fellow of Engineers Australia in 2007. Since 2020, he has consistently been included in Stanford University’s global ranking of the world’s top 2% of scientists. He has also been recognised annually as an Elsevier Highly Cited Chinese Researcher since 2016. In 2026, Professor Qin was elected a Member of Academia Europaea.
Professor Qin has led eight Discovery Projects funded by the Australian Research Council and four General Programme projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has chaired and organised numerous international academic conferences. He also holds five granted Australian invention patents, all relating to three-dimensionally printed composite materials.
He has published more than 470 SCI-indexed journal articles, including 268 papers in Q1 journals and 145 in Q2 journals. His work has appeared in leading international journals, including Nano Letters, ACS Nano, Biomaterials, and Light: Science & Applications. In addition, he has authored 19 book chapters and published nine English-language monographs. To date, his publications have received 19,379 citations on Google Scholar; his most highly cited paper has been cited 783 times, and his h-index is 71.
In addition to his research and teaching activities, Professor Qin currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of two international journals and as a member of the editorial boards of four SCI-indexed journals.
